Kestrel Trading Ventures takes a direct position in every vessel it brings to market. Every vessel KTV brings to market is one we own outright. When a sale closes, ownership transfers cleanly — there is no residual position, no shared interest, no complexity in title.
Our work is built on direct relationships with managers and construction yards, and on a working understanding of OSV specifications — deck area, bollard pull, installed power, DP class, station-keeping and endurance — rather than a listings index.

Established Yard Relationship
KTV maintains an ongoing relationship with its shipyard, built on a pipeline of committed and future orders. As the offshore market strengthens, build slots — not vessels — become the scarce resource. That relationship gives KTV access to capacity that a single buyer sourcing their own build typically can't secure.
Capital Committed Before a Buyer Exists
KTV secures the vessel's build with its own capital before a buyer is found. When you're offered a vessel, it's not a listing dependent on a third-party owner's timeline — it's a position we've already committed to and are actively overseeing.
